Thanks to all the scrutineer’s who helped during the Queensland Superkart “FIRST” CLUB EVENT OF THE YEAR.!!!
The Club Executive committee has been re-elected after another successful year of racing, and the club continues to grow, and take a more pro-active approach to the finances and administrative organisation of race meeting , social events , Display events and sponsorship, also this year celebrating the clubs 50 th year of operation.
It has to be said, that this is all due to our President Doug Amiss, and his forward planning and “marshalling ” of the troops. Capably assisted by Vice President Tim Weier, Treasure Roger Amiss , and Secretary Russell Jamieson… and the committee members who have all returned for another year..
We have some great members who just love their “superkart” racing…
The presentation of karts has been getting better and better, and Tim Weier ( our chief Scrutineer ) had very few issues with any of the karts presented on Sunday..
The day takes planning and lots of volunteers to make it successful, The barbeque lunch was amazing and big thanks to Paul Prineas and Rebecca for cooking and swinging the “tongs”
And of coarse that latest in a big year planned is the announcement of the SUPERKART CUP in August.. as part of the Hi-Tec Oils Televised round and Queensland raceway. See below for the details…
