2024 Ultimate Steel Framing Pty Ltd Superkart Series Round 4 Results
TAG Heavy
What a weekend these 2 had David Dyson and Steve Murray were never separated by more than a kart length the whole time and you couldn’t wipe the smile off their faces
Steve took a clean sweep of the weekend aided by David throwing a chain in race 4.
1st Steve Murray, 2nd David Dyson
125 National
1st Russell Jamieson, 2nd Tim Philp, 3rd Doug Amiss
What a show these 3 put on, fresh off his win at Round 3 Tim Philp was the red hot favourite and everything was going to plan until a bolt in the shift linkage came loose in race 4 forcing him back into the pits. This allowed Russel Jamieson to take the win. Doug Amiss solved his gremlins from Round 3 but try as he might he couldn’t match the outright speed of the leading pair. Big shoutout goes to Nicholas Raymond in only his second ever Superkart meeting and first visit to Morgan Park and by the end of the weekend he had lowered his PB to a 1:23 after starting in the 1:27’s during qualifying
250 National
1st Tim Weier, 2nd Craig Hillier
Tim took a clean sweep of the weekend mixing it with Ewen Burg in his 250 Inter while keeping those hard charging 125’s behind. Craig was having a great weekend despite his muffler splitting open unfortunately his weekend was cut short after a crack in the cases near the front engine mount was discovered
250 International
1st Ewen Burg
It’s a wild ride in a 250 at Morgan Park, Ewen used the weekend as a test and tune still dialling in his new Anderson chassis. He had some great battles with Tim Weier in his 250 National ultimately using the extra HP to his advantage to edge away into the distance.
We are back at Queensland Raceway for Round 5 in 2 weeks time
