In 2006 Russell Jamieson won his first Australian championship driving a laydown optimised version of the venerable Stockman MR2 design. Russ moved into 250 International, again racing the Stockman MR2 and RS Honda combination and finished seventh showing much promise, particularly at Round 2 at Eastern Creek racing top six for much of the weekend but the 2010 season was miserable for him.
The second round of the Exclusive Auto Centre Superkart Challenge Series and Rotax Max Superkart Cup arrived at Lakeside on April 7th. The Ignition, some new carby and intake mods,adjustments to the existing pipe have really enhance the power output of the standard 97 engine.
