Superkart display at Harry's Diner

The QSC Inc dipped their toes into the social media pond last night at Harry’s Diner bike night in Windsor as a pre-curser to a superkart night now booked for the Saturday 17th June. Darryl Bertram had kindly offered up his Formula 1 250cc International Superkart for the display and was also gracious enough to answer all of the usual questions from an eager crowd.

The evening was slowly building until 6:15pm when what could only be described as swarms of motorcyclists arrived, we didn’t do a head count but I suspect easily around 1,500 people for a Wednesday but there may have been many more as bikes come and go throughout the evening.

Motorcyclists obviously travel in groups of four as this seemed to be the amount of people that would approach and inspect the kart at any one time. The general crowd were amazed as to the technical specs of Darryl’s 250cc kart, lots of selfies were taken and uploaded to social media with the kart in the foreground of the diner.

Both men and women were googling the club, Superkarts, video and were stunned as to the racing action on Youtube and the affordability of the sport. They were equally stunned when we informed them the QSC Inc is having their 40th Anniversary this year as those inspecting the kart openly stated ‘that we’ve have never seen any of this before’.
